Technical diving

Most people who dive for pleasure stay relatively close to the surface and will find our recreational diving courses sufficient for their needs. But if you want to explore further - diving deeper than 40m (130ft) to explore caves and wrecks, or diving under ice - you'll need advanced training and the ability to use specialised equipment.

We offer the following courses to meet your needs. All are based on the technical diving curriculum defined by DSAT (a sister company to PADI):

Gas blender

  • Equips you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers
  • Covers the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and the cleaning equipment that must be used
  • Provides the skills you need to create an enriched air-nitrox mix and proper helium mixes
